They are the only retail location within hundreds of miles that pump ‘the good stuff’, or more commonly known as ‘B99’ biodiesel. This means that it is 99% pure biodiesel, and 1% regular diesel (government tax stuff requires the 1%) What is Biodiesel, you say? It is the name of a clean-burning alternative fuel originating from vegetable oils and/or animal fats. It’s also biodegradable, nontoxic, essentially free of sulfur and aromatics, has higher lubricity so your engine loves it, and it doesn’t come from politically unstable regions of the world! Biodiesel costs about the same as regular diesel. Our un-modified 2006 Mercedes Benz Turbo-Diesel engine loves the stuff, and we simply can’t say enough good things about it.
